My templates have disappeared from the folder "Project Templates".

Question

Hello, 
 I had to create a new project, and I wanted to use one of my templates. These templates were visualized correctly in "Use settings from", but when I selected one of them the following message appeared: "The selected project template could not be located". I checked the folder "Project Templates", and I saw that all my templates had disappeared from this folder: it contains only default templates. 
 Could you please tell me if they could be restored? And how could It be avoided in the future?

 Perhaps you are working with an external drive, or make storing files on OneDrive... or something like that? It feels unlikely that Studio would be responsible for deleting all your saved project templates.
