The most likely reason is that you didn't have the update checkbox ticked in your project settings:

I have checked the project settings as per your advice :

the 3 boxes Enabled, Lookup, and Concordance were ticked, but not the Update one, so I ticked it.

Then I went back to the Translation memories view and opened my translation memory from there :

it stills says there is no translation unit to display.

So, all the work you have done so far has not been added to this TM because it was not checked.

That would be because you have not added any TUs since the box was not checked.  Everything you translate from now, as long as the update box is checked, will be added to your TM.

If you want to get the work you have done so far into the TM you have a couple of options:

1. Go back to the projects and run the Update Translation Memories batch task
   
   
   
2. Or you can import your translated SDLXLIFF files into your TM.  Go to your Translation Memories View and import from here:

Sorry about the delayed answer.
I made sure the Update box was checked.

And the second option you suggested worked perfectly (import the translated SDLXLIFF file directly from the Translation Memories View).
