You simply can not prepare XLF files if this plugin is installed.

  • This plugin:

Screenshot showing the file name 'Xtm.Plugin.SDLStudio.Xliff.sdlplugin' indicating it is not an official Trados Studio plugin.

is not one of our plugins.  The fact it has SDLStudio in the name means nothing.  It could be called Xtm.Plugin.Sameh.Xliff.sdlplugin... the name is meaningless.

It is possible that you downloaded an old version some time ago from the appstore because the developer mistakenly asked for it to be published.  They removed it a few days later for two reasons:

    1. It had a problem they found

    2. they didn't want it on the appstore

If that's the case then I apologise for not remembering this earlier, but it doesn't change the fact the issue is not one we can address at all.  You need to contact the developer.  I will drop an email to XTM on your behalf and point them to this thread and perhaps someone there will help you.

But for now, if you have no idea where you got this from or who to contact, then I suggest you simply remove it.  The default Studio XLIFF has no problem with your file.
