How to move from target to source via keyboard ?

Hi,

By default the cursor moves from target segments to the following target segment with crtl + enter.

I am wondering how to move form the target seg 1 to source seg 1 via the keyboard so to do an edit  of the source. Is it possible ? How ?

With kind regards, Manuella

  • Hi , hi (oops I did it again!)

To switch back and forwards between Target and Source, use the F6 key at the top of your keyboard.

You can see all the available keyboard shortcuts via File>Options>Keyboard Shortcuts:

Trados Studio Options window showing Keyboard Shortcuts tab with a list of commands and their associated key combinations.

You can change the existing shortcut key combinations by overtyping the existing key combinations in the list and you can add new key combinations to the functions listed with no shortcut. To enter the key combination, press the keys you want to use for that shortcut simultaneously then hit 'Enter'. If you type an existing key combination, it's indicated by an error message...

Error message in Trados Studio indicating a shortcut conflict for 'Browse' with 'Editor > Cancel Term Editing'.

So then you can find a key combination that isn't already allocated.

    Hope this helps,

    All the best,
