Footnote in PDF file should convert to Word`s footnote

Question

Hi 
 When we are trasnlating a PDF file which has footnotes, we expect that the footnotes translation finnally goes in to the Word`s footnote. 
 But in Trados Studio, in the final output (Word file) , the footnotes won`t converted to Word`s footnote, the resulting problem is sometimes the footnote translation placed in the middle of page and treated like a normal sentense. 
 is there a plug in or prepration trick or any other way that convert them as desired?

 It depends on the quality of the PDF and the conversion process. There is nothing Studio can do to improve this as PDF translation is an "only do it if there is really no other way" translation. 
 Better to convert the PDF first, tidy it up in Word, and then translate the Word file. The way you have done it is also fine, although potentially more work. You now need to tidy up the target file.
