Align documents

I cannot align documents. I get the error message Canot find part of the path.

By default the maximum path length in Windows is 260 characters. Your path is 269 characters long, mainly due to an incredibly long file name.

Thanks. I'll remember that. Curiously I was able to align the file using multifile alignment and just entering one pair of files.

That might have to do with how the path is concatenated in the different functions. Your path is just 9 characters too long, so if the code navigates to the folder and then addesses a file, it might work, but if it tries to select the file without setting an active folder first it might run into the 260 character limit and throw an exception... I am glad we overcame the old 8 character limit for filenames, but I'd still keep them reasonably short.
