Signed off status of a TM unit

Is there any way to configure SDL Trados Studio 2019 in such a way that a 100% TM match will appear in the target segment with a Signed Off mark if this match has previously been signed off within some other project?
In other words, how can a translator working on a particular project check if a 100% TM match has been reviewed by the team-leader, supervisor etc.?
We use server-based TMs.
Thanks in advance!

  • The only way to do this is to run a Perfect Match from the previously translated project.  This is the only way to be sure that that 100% match was translated in exactly the same context in a previous project.

There is no mechanism in the TM for approving matches.

You could, if you thought you could maintain it properly do something like this:

    1. create a field on the TM for Approved/Not approved for example.
    2. when the team-leader is happy a project has been reviewed he/she updates the TM with this field set to Approved.
    3. That way all translators will see this Approved/Not Approved status in the TM results window
    4. You could even set a penalty for Not Approved if you wanted

Maybe that would work for you?
