"SelectedTab can't be set before the pane has been added to a panes collection". Renaming does NOT work.

Question

Hi, whenever I try to open a file, an error message pops up: "SelectedTab can't be set before the pane has been added to a panes collection". This problem first occured 2 months ago. I searched the community and knew it was a common problem. I followed the advice and renamed the 15.0.0.0 folder. It worked! But when this problem appeared again yesterday, this solution did not work. I also found that a 15.0.0.0 folder was automatically created when I quit the application, so under SDL Trados Studio, there are 2 folders now, 15.0.0.0 and the renamed 15.0.0.0_old (pls see the screenshot). My SDL version is 2019 SR2-15.2.7.2849. Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.  Please delete the folder that you previously renamed _old. 
 Now rename the 15.0.0.0 folder again into 15.0.0.0_old 
 Reboot your machine and start Studio. 
 Does this now work for you?

 The origin of the issue is indeed an unknown (not something you have done wrong) and something that we haven't been able to replicate. 
 If you havent already, perhaps its a good idea to ensure your system (OS/drives etc.) are all up to date and see if the issue re-occurs.
