After uninstalling Studio 2017 and 2019, no default program was assigned to the file type SDLXLIFF (under Windows 7). I selected Studio 2021 as the default program but I cannot open SDLXLIFF files; another instance of the program starts but no files open in Studio.
Repair installation didn't help. I uninstalled and re-installed Studio 2021 but it didn't help either.
(I reinstalled Studio 2019, and it opens SDLXLIFF files.)
Urgent help is needed.

You can certainly open Studio 2021 and open the SDLXLIFFs from there, or not? Something in the Registry might be messed up so that Windows does not correctly associate the application when you double-click on the file in the file explorer, but you can always open the file from the application I should think.
That might not be your preferred way to work, but maybe it takes the urgency from your situation.

Yes, I can open SDLXLIFFs from Studio using Translate Single Document but not from Windows Explorer.
The problem might be in connection with the latest CU.
