Since I upgraded to 2021, I have been getting these messages quite regularly:
After clicking OK I can open the TM again, no problem. What is the reason for this?

Your TM isn't corrupt... at least it probably isn't. This is a known issue, our reference CRQ-21105.
If you remove the TM and put it back you may find you don't see this message again for a long time, and then it randomly appears again. We're not sure why this happens yet but it is logged with the development team so hopefully they'll resolve the problem in a future update soon.
