Took me a bit to figure out what you were doing.  I wonder f the reason they are not there is because the way TQA works has changed to make it possible to commit multiple changes in one go and generally work more efficiently when carrying out these tasks.  Is this what you were after?

Might be that development forgot to remove them from that menu and they are not actually used there any more.  But I'm guessing a bit as I wasn't sure what your question was at first... perhaps you can confirm?

in meinem Fall geht es definitiv um Nutzung der TQA Funktionen, d. h. Bewertung von Übersetzungssegmenten. Die Schaltflächen werden in der Menüleiste nicht angezeigt, obwohl ich diese vorher aktiviert habe, somit kann keine Zuordnung grober/kleiner Fehler vorgenommen werden. Ist das ein Bug oder hat da jemand schlampig gearbeitet?!

Deinen Screenshot werde ich mir noch genauer anschauen.

They probably worked before because TQA worked differently before.  That's what I wanted to explain to you.  Forget about the buttons for a minute and try working with it to see the differences.  Now you can apply global changes to the results and don't have to do things one error at a time.  In making this change the functions you used previously might have become redundant, in which case the "sloppiness" may be that the development team forgot to remove them from this customisation menu, as opposed to them being there and simply not working.

Daniel Brockmann may have a better idea here as he definitely knows more about TQA than me and he was involved in the changes for 2021.

Thanks Paul Filkin - indeed Alide Folz we have modernized the way of working and it should work as described here - https://docs.sdl.com/813470/775444/sdl-trados-studio-2021/adding-tqa-items. What has changed is that after enabling Assess Quality mode you can just work like in Tracked Changes mode (without having to add/edit TQA items explicitly like before). Then later you can go through the TQA list and assign severities etc. more efficiently. It's quite different from before (with many less prompts and things getting in your way) but the 'old' way of working might also still work though I would not recommend it. Thanks, Daniel

Hallo zusammen!

Bin wieder zurück. Die Doku ist soweit schlüssig aber ohne Ergebnis. Habe keine Möglichkeit weder über die Menüleiste noch über Kontextmenü meine Bewertung vorzunehmen. Selbstverständlich wurde im Prüfungsmodus das Segment bestätigt und das Wort markiert, um TQA anzuwenden. Die TQA-Einstellungen waren in Projekteinstellungen auch voreingestellt. TQA-Button in der Menüleiste werden nicht angezeigt und auch eine Anpassung des Menüs ist nicht möglich. Wann kann der Support diesen Fehler, der wohl offentlichtlich bei mir auftritt, berichtigen. Besteht noch Hoffnung oder versandet es in der Bürokratieverwaltung?

Hi Alide - just to check - you really don't have the TQA buttons on the Review tab? It's hard to fathom what might be wrong as it's all there and working. Can you post a screenshot of your Review tab on the ribbon? This might be a good next step as I think we are all scratching our heads of what is happening as it normally just works... Thanks

OK, in "Überprüfung" you need to switch from "Track Changes" to "Assess Quality" and this should then enable everything. If there are any remaining tracked changes, you'll need to accept or reject them first. (TQA and TC cannot coexist in the same file). Once in Assess Quality mode, adding TQA items should work. (And this has not really changed in 2021 vs. earlier releases...). I.e. it is an explicit step to start TQA mode and then everything should work. Thanks.

Ist alles bereits geschehen: Status als Überprüfer angepasst, TQA ausgewählt, Segment abgelehnt aber danach kann ich keine Bewertung von TQA auslösen, weil keine Schaltflächen auf der Menüleiste noch im Kontextmenü erscheinen. Ich glaube wirklich nicht das 2021 so modern geworden ist. Was sagt der Support dazu. Ein modernes CAT-Tool kann sich solche Bugs nicht mehr erlauben. Der Support schweigt, warum? 

Sie müssen a) eine Auswahl treffen (Text muss markiert sein), siehe Screenshot, oder b) eine gewünschte Änderung im TQA-Modus vornehmen, dann können Sie in die Änderung hineinklicken und eine Bewertung hinzufügen. Jede TQA-Bewertung muss sich auf eine Auswahl bzw. vorgenommene TQA-Änderung beziehen.

Im Kontextmenü erscheint die Bewertungsoption nicht, das Wort wird natürlich vorab markiert. SDL-Support reagiert nicht auf meine Anfragen. TQA ist wohl nicht vollständig in 2021 integriert! Nicht alle Wege führen nach Rom, vor allem dann, wenn ein Bug gesetzt wird. In diesem Fall fehlt die Verknüpfung.

Die Option erscheint im Kontextmenü, wenn Sie Dokumente "zur Überprüfung öffnen" (Open for Review). In anderen Modi (z.B. Übersetzung) sind diese Befehle standardmäßig nicht im Kontextmenü, aber im Ribbon (Review Tab/Überprüfung) sind sie dann auch vorhanden.

I guess there are a couple of things here.  First of all, we don't know where you have contacted support because you don't seem to have a support & maintenance contract and this issue is not related to licensing or installation.  We checked with support this morning and they don't seem to have anything from you either.  If the problem was really a bug, then of course we would also be happy to investigate and schedule the work to resolve it, but in this case it doesn't look like a bug.

If you can share a video of how you are trying to use this then we can try to assist you in here and explain where you are going wrong because after reviewing the responses from  Daniel Brockmann it looks as though the issue is more likely to be related to how you are trying to use the feature.  If I'm wrong then a short video from you should also make this clear and then we can determine the next steps.  But I think t's reasonable for you to demonstrate why it doesn't work after you have followed the advice already provided first.  Please continue to respond in German, there is no need to try and do this in a language you are less comfortable with.
