Dear community,
I'm experiencing issues with one of my TMs. Even though the TM is in Slovene, the person who created it set the language as Slovak. Now, I find it problematic to use it and when I tried to upgrade this TM and to merge it with another one in Slovene, I couldn't create a single output TM. How can I change the language settings of this TM?

I don't really understand all of your question. But to answer this part at least:
How can I change the language settings of this TM?
If the languages are wrong then export to a TMX, create a new empty SDLTM with the correct language pairs, then import the TMX with the default import settings and it will be imported into your SDLTM.
