Translate
Can someone please help me... I'm desperate.
When I try to translate a new file, Trados does not recognise the existing 100%-match-entries in my TM. Pre-translate does not work, all fields remain blank when I try to run the batch task. No matches are found when I press F3 for a concordance search, even though I have double-checked that the entries are IN the TM I have linked to the project. The language combinations also matched.
To check what was going on, I updloaded a file I had previously translated in Trados again as a new project and tried to pre-translate. There was a 100%-match for every single segment in the TM seeing that I had previously translated exactly the same file, but not a single segment was found and concordance searches were unsuccessful.
I had not deliberately or consciously made any changes to any of my settings.
I have tried re-installing the program, to no avail.
Any ideas on what has gone wrong, and, more importantly, on how I can fix this??
