Try running the process on a single file like this:

1. convert the original source to TTX again
2. translate the TTX in Studio from your TM
3. save the target
4. convert back to Quicksilver

Does that work?  It may be that something happened in the translation process affecting the files.  I think it's worth a try and may provide a solution for you.  If that doesn't work maybe you can try the process in Trados 2007 if you still have it?  If you don't and can provide a TMX and a converted TTX I can test it for you?

It's a hard one to troubleshoot I think as this is all very old technology now.

we have really tried everything in the last days. But without success. Our client now wants his translation. We have translated everything but cannot deliver. This is very frustrating.

Could you write me an email? Then I can send you  as a reply the TTX and TMX. Then you can give it a try.

I think the problem is your translated TTX files.  I don’t know where they were translated but I can’t open them in TagEditor at all.  So I translated the source TTX again from your TM and now they seem to run through S-Tagger without it throwing an error.  I am getting a bunch of verify errors but I bet you know how to deal with these.  I sent my translated TTX files to you, see if they work for you?
