I've been searching this website but cannot find the answer, so perhaps this is new.
I have the following question regarding the functionality Update File in Studio 2019.
Say you have a _v1-file containing 4,000 words. You translate 2,000 of those, and then the client sends an updated version of the source, _v2.
In this _v2, you can only re-use 1,000 words of those 2,000 you translated because the file was heavily edited.
How can I analyze the whole project where those 1,000-extra-translated-but-unused-words are included in the count?
After all, I have to invoice those 1,000 words because I have to pay the translator for it. But how can Studio show me that?
How can I let Studio tell me that there are 1,000 words extra even though we won't use them for the final file?
