I think there are two things here, sort of related.  First of all in 2021 and also in Trados Live (Language Cloud) we have removed support for some of the old "dead" filetype formats. Clearly not really dead, but based on our telemetry not used very often any more.  You can restore them in 2021 and this should resolve the problem you have in Trados Studio by installing the "SDL Trados Compatibility and Migration Power Pack" from the appstore:

Make sure you add any additional filetypes to your projects and settings first as you may find you have this after installing the app:

But in a cloud project we use the filetypes available in the cloud.  Here we have not made it possible to support the legacy filetypes at all.  So you'll have to wait until we add support for SDLXLIFF so you can create the SDLXLIFF files in Studio locally, and then create a new project with the SDLXLIFF files in your target language folder.

Frankly a ridiculous workaround until we can actually publish a local project to the cloud, but it is what it is and I'm pretty sure we will not be adding support for these legacy filetypes in the cloud.

I have a ttx file that I would like to have a look at in Studio 2022, and tried to find the "SDL Trados Compatibility and Migration Power Pack", but the search function could not find it in AppStore. Has it been discontinued?

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

I click on the AppStore icon on the Welcome tab.

I get nada:

When I click on "Go to AppStore", no page opens in the browser.

If you'd said the "AppStore integration in Studio", or provided this screenshot I would have suggested something else :-)

Keep it simple and search for a word more likely to be found such as "compatibility" or "migration".  When you enter the entire string you are at risk of missing it.  In this case the name is incorrect as we are not SDL anymore and most apps and products have been rebranded.  So starting with SDL instantly fails.

Simple enough to double check yourself and search in the appstore itself though :-)

Strange indeed... that works for me.  Here are a few guesses as to why you have this problem...

• You are lacking the necessary permissions to open external links.
• You may not be connected to the internet, or the connection may be weak or unstable.
• Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can block certain links or websites if they deem them suspicious or potentially harmful.
• The default browser set to open the links might have issues. For example, it might not be installed correctly, or it could be experiencing problems that prevent it from opening.

Just guessing....

I upgraded Studio to the most recent version before I installed the power pack, and the link works now.
