Of course... one of the best features in Trados Studio in my opinion.  This video is just an explanation of how to do this for someone else...

The video only shows SDLTMs but you can do this with any supported files for the upgrade and this includes TMX.

Thank you, Paul Filkin. I didn't know about this feature. But I think the problem is that the TMs in my case already exist. So what I would need would be a chance to select the specific TMs where the TMX file(s) should be imported for each language. The problem is not the multiple TMX files (in most cases I have only one file per language) but the 19 existing TMs that must be upgraded with the files...

Should also be possible.  "Upgrade" (poor wording really...) the existing SDLTM with the appropriate TMX files and you'll end up with a new SDLTM containing the merge of them all.  Quite handy because your existing SDLTM will be a good backup in case you're not happy with the result..

That again would only possible to do TM by TM, i.e. do the whole procedure 19 times if there are 19 TMs for 19 languages to be updated with the corr, TMX files? Because in the procedure that you explain above I cannot specifically  select the TM to be updated - can I? ..In any case, the name of the new TM is fix , rifght? So I'd nred to rename the new TMs to be able to use them in existing projects...?

So in this scenario you could simply throw all the TMX files and SDLTM files into the feature in one go and Studio will sort them out.

However, IF you have several SDLTM files in the same language pair and intend for your TMX files to go into specific SDLTM files, then you are now correct.  You would need separate operations for each one.
