Hi,

I want to be able to make use of previous projects that I translated manually before using Trados and incorporate them into TMs.

All I want to do is very simply upload the source word document into the source column, the target word document into the target column, align if necessary, and then analyse them to make use of them in Translation memories.

I have fiddled around for the best part of a day with exporting for bilingual review, importing for bilingual review, updating from reviewed target file (retrofitting), updating main translation memories, updating project translation memories, yada yada yada and nothing has worked.

Once I might actually miraculously manage to do this, how do I then go about incorporating my translations into a TM?

This is such a simple request I refuse to believe it is not possible!
