Hi!
For editing an entry I clicked multiple times in a Termbase Viewer window on a source (English) term:

After that Trados hanged for a couple of seconds and closed automatically. I had to reopen Trados manually.
Why did it happen? I had no error message, just a hang. I am using SDL Trados Studio 2021 16.0.1.2917.
Maybe try working with the default viewer as opposed to Multiterm Classic. It's easier and may be more robust. You should also make sure you are using the correct version of Multiterm too as a clash between Studio and Multiterm could also cause problems. You should have:
SDL Trados Studio 2021 - 16.0.2.3343
SDL MultiTerm 2021 - 16.0.1.304
So you need to update anyway, but update both applications.

I am using SDL MultiTerm 2019. Perhaps this has caused the problem.
Why different versions of Studio and Multiterm has clashes? Any possibility to prevent clashes by making different versions of Studio and Multiterm work together?
that is almost certainly the reason. Studio uses parts of Multiterm so you must always ensure you have the correct versions installed.
There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t do this as you have the installers in your account already.
