Hello,
We have a large number of SDLXLIFF files to edit. When those files were created, a number of Custom Fields were established for each one of them. Is that Fields’ information somehow recoverable so that, when editing with a different TM, we don’t have to reenter those Custom Fields for each SDLXLIFF file?

If you want to update the new TM with these fields then you'll have to re-enter them for each sdlxliff file. Might be easy if you put them there using the Record Source TU app, but for anything else you'll need to create the fields in the new TM ad then et up each file to update them accordingly.
I'm actually struggling to see how recovering this information will be helpful anyway because you'll need to update against each SDLXLIFF file whatever you do. If you meant can you recover them so they can be set up for use in a new TM then the answer is yes. Probably easiest to use the ApplyTM Template app.

I believe I found a way around our problem: As it turns out, there is a particular Customized Field that is common to all the XLIFF files that need to be edited. Filtering through that Customized Field, I exported all the corresponding segments from the TM used to generate the XLIFF files. The resulting tmx file will be edited using Heartsome. After editing, we’ll import the edited tmx file into the proper TM.
