Hi! If I recall correctly, there are some limitations for the RegEx target when using grouped search expressions. For example, I think something like ($1|Text) doesn't work as an EITHER/OR. There was a web page I found awhile back that had some more information so maybe digging around online will help you.

It looks like that same page appears in the 2021 documentation also:

However, I think they forgot to delete the following line from the documentation as it seems you can use special escape characters with 2019 and 2021

Note: The target RegEx cannot contain any special escape characters and will act exactly as pattern for replace function of .NET RegEx implementation.
