Studio 2014 does NOT insert the space after a FULL STOP and does not mark this as a MISTAKE, why?

Hello,

I was translating a site page which was apparently divided as usual into the segments. BUT much to my surprise when I opened the whole page of the target text I had duly saved and checked I noticed this very serious mistake totally IGNORED by Studio.

To make it clear I'll create an example of the sentences, here totally invented of course:

The cat is drinking milk from the yellow bowl. The bowl doe not contain enough milk, it's too small and the cat is not very happy.

Studio divided the text into TWO segments:

The cat is drinking milk from the yellow bowl.

The bowl doe not contain enough milk, it's too small and the cat is not very happy.

BUT when the target text was recomposed by Studio, and the two sentences formed a SINGLE LINE again (not two!) as in the source text, the SPACE after the FULL STOP was NOT inserted and the two sentences (their translation I mean, of course) appeared JOINED TOGETHER, like this:  

The cat is drinking milk from the yellow bowl.The bowl doe not contain enough milk, it..........    without the correct space after the full stop!!!!

This is a very serious mistake: we can't go through pages and pages of text and check if the spaces after ALL the full stops have been correctly inserted!

WHY does STUDIO recognize as a mistake if two words are WRONGLY JOINED if they are in the same sentence, BUT does not do so when it has divided the sentences into TWO different segments?

I simply can't understand and this was very disappointing; how can we trust STUDIO if it behaves it this bizarre way? The mistake is very serious.

Is there anything that has to be set somewhere? Apparently all the parameters were ok. Did I do anything wrong perhaps? But where?

    Well, there is some information missing to help answer this one:

    - was this a target html file displayed in a browser?

    - was this an export for external review?

    - what happens to the source html under the same circumstances?

    - what were the elements separating the sentences?

    It was impossible to find the sentence, the HTML source was flooded with tags and I had four different separate files, so now I really can't find the two segments which had this mistake, BUT to make you happier I checked other segments and they all showed no problems.

    I.e. after the source text paragraph was split into several segments for the translation, although it was a single short paragraph, the space after each full stop was then correctly inserted when the whole target paragraph was reconstructed again on the target page, with all the HTML tags shown correctly as well.

    As far as I remember, yes the first time I saw the target page it was displayed in a browser, then I saved it to my computer as an HTML page to keep it. But I can't tell whether the problem of the missing space was seen on the browser display only or also after having saved the page as an HTML document on my computer.

    My guess:

    on those two unfortunate segments, which also belonged to a single paragraph, probably the HTML tags somewhere in the sentence were wrongly placed by the customer and hence Studio got confused in some way? It's difficult to use technical jargon, I'm not an IT expert at all as you may have imagined, but this is what I think might have happened.

    To tell the truth, when I saw the source text with so many HTML tags I really got terrified as I imagined some mistakes might come out somewhere at the end of my translation. Luckily the only thing I noticed was that space NOT inserted after the full stop in that paragraph.

    I'm sorry, I'm aware of the fact that it must be very difficult for you to give an answer, and that the problem must certainly be caused by some tiny mistake somewhere.

    Next time it happens, but I do hope it won't again, I'll collect immediately as much information as possible.
