Hi,
I've got a very simple HTML file for which Studio 2014 SP2 fails to generate a target showing the "StartIndex cannot be less than zero" message. You can open the file, save as SDLXLIFF and validate, but not save it as target. Please find the Studio error log and the source HTML attached.
This is not urgent at all but the HTML filter seems to need a fix.

I don't have any problems with this file at all. Can you provide a little more information and then perhaps I'll be closer to reproducing what you are doing.
- did you create a project or use a single file translation process?
- did you run any batch tasks prior to saving as target?
- did you translate the file before saving as target?
- can I see a fully translated sdlxliff rather than the source that behaves this way?

- I used the "Translate single document" process;
- no batch tasks;
- translated the file and saved as SDLXLIFF;
- please find attached the SDLXLIFF that generates this error when saving as target.

Was able to reproduce the problem here:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a default project and add "demos.html".
2. Open the sdlxliff file that was generated in the editor.
3. Go to "File" > "Save Target As" and try to save the file somewhere.
@Maxim:
Confirmed the issue can be fixed by changing the html to the followingr:
<meta content="text/html" charset="utf-8" http-equiv="utf-8"/>
@SDL,
I believe the line its breaking on is the following (see the bolded area):
<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type"/>
The charset is embedded in one attribute "content" and I think the code is having problems parsing that part.
