Hi Gerhard,
The Projects folder that Studio saves projects to when you're working locally has never been the only location to which you can save projects. You can save your projects anywhere you wish to, either when you're opening a project package or creating a project in Studio. You can also physically move a project from within Windows Explorer.
Are you saying you'd like to be able to differentiate between projects you're working on locally and those you are accessing on the cloud, by storing them in different local locations? The short answer is yes.
Are you talking about uploading locally-created projects 'Starting with SDL Trados Studio 2021 you can upload your projects, translation memories and termbases into your own secure cloud space and use them in Trados Studio, along with neural machine translation', as described here:
The above link leads to lots of information on working to the Cloud, and takes you further with explanations such as Working with cloud projects from SDL Trados Studio or Working with cloud projects from a browser
I hope this information helps...
All the best for a happy new year
Ali
Hi Ali thanks for your reply
I wanted to know, if I can save the projects created in the cloud with studio 2021 automatically not in document folder / Studio 2021 /Projects but in another folder like F:/txt ?? Otherwise I have to create them in the cloud directly and to save them manually in a folder of my choice. That is what I understand.
Regards Gerhard
Hi Gerhard,
I'm sure the answer is yes but Paul Filkin will be able to answer your question more usefully than I can.
All the best,
Ali
