Help! Cannot open InDesign in Studio 2017 to translate

Question

And yes, I have tried follow the answers in other replies in this forum. 
 I have changed my settings to process unsupported file versions. 
 
 When I preview the file, I can see it fine in the editor 
 
 but I keep getting the usual error message that 
 
 I have spent the last couple of hours reading answers to this and would hate to say no to a big job because I cannot make this work.

 After changing the settings to allow Process unsupported file versions' did you try to create a new project?

Trados Studio > 1. Trados Studio
