Yes they both are.

have also tried to disable the TM that does update, write the correct translation in the segment and update the main translation memory (only the TM that does not update is enabled at this stage). When I reopen the file in editor, the concordance search shows both the correct translation and incorrect translation that has not been updated and both are under the name of the only TM that is enabled. I can't get rid of old imported strings that are incorrect.

It would be helpful to see a screenshot of the actual Language Pair/Translation memory settings (as I posted above) and to know if you prepared using a Project TM or not-

and to ensure that you have both TM's at the same level (as opposed to one perhaps in the specific language pair rather than both in All Language pair level).

Next I would perhaps look at (File Options Editor Automation) and check Update Translation Memory is enabled

Its also worth checking that the TM is NOT open in the TM Window-

If it is- close the project and then remove the TM from Translation Memory and then reopen the project.

Should the problem persist, then I would suggest exporting the TM to TMX and then reimport to a newly created TM

Hi , everything is checked as suggested and I've also removed the open TMs in the TM Window. Since the TM wasn't updating still I have created another TM and imported the 2 TMs into it. It seems working for now. Thank you for the suggestion.
