I use both 2019 and 2021 but I just noticed files added with 2021 is not recognized on 2019 and and files added with 2019is not recognized on 2021. Is this a issue or just a specification? I look forward to your ideas, thank you!
I upgraded to Trados Studio 2021, and I have no trouble loading 2019 projects from the folder Documents\Studio 2019\Projects. Does that work for you?

If you are using Studio 2021, what exactly is the use case, of adding files to Studio 2019 projects and not simply creating projects in 2021 and adding the projects to the Studio 2021 projects folder?
