Hi Jerzy! Again, thank you! This is embarrassing. I promise I will do more research next time :-) This is how it goes when being completely convinced of something. As there were no shortcut outside the function in the menu, I gathered it could not exist, like a law of nature - why just some and not others I guess was my pre Internet rationale in my brain. Not anymore.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, you don't want to see the pop-up window that asks if you really want to mark the project as completed. If so, you will find that using the shortcut will still cause the window to pop-up. A way to solve this is to use an AutoHotkey script that closes the window as soon as it pops up by sending a "Yes" response to the question.

If you're not familiar with AutoHotkey, follow these steps to run the script:

1. Download and install AutoHotkey from www.autohotkey.org

2. Unzip the script I provided above in a local folder

3. Double-click the *.ahk file

That's it! This will cause the script to run in the background and whenever the annoying window pops up, it will be closed without your intervention.

Thanks for helping, Nora. I did try it, but when using the short cut I made, the popup came anyway and the window made a pling sound again and again so I had to remove the hotkey again. Mybe it only work without a shortcut?

TBH I think the popup window is not that bad. It warns you, that the project will be marked as completed.

Usually I go that way:

• Click the first project to be closed
• Press ALT+F12 (my shortcut for completed) to mark as complete
• Press arrow down or up to go to the next project to be completed
• Mark as complete again
• Repeat for all relevant projects
• Press and hold SHIFT and then use arrow down/up to mark the completed projects
• If completed projects are not subsequent, use CTRL+Left click to select completed ones
• Press CTRL+ALT+F4 to remove all marked completed projects from the list

What is your interface language? The script is written for English. If your language is different, you would just need to make the appropriate changes, i.e., open the *.ahk file in a plain text editor (like Notepad++) and change the text in 1, 2 and 3 in the screenshot below to what you see on your window. Note that number 3 is what you would send to the window to close it, which in the English interface is "y" for Yes.

Thanks, Nora, I will make a note about that. And I will for sure look more into hotkeys. But the complete and the not complete did in the end not make a different for me. I will continue to just get them off my list when done :-)

As I mention to Nora, I go for the last bullets from your list, but remove them at once without using the complete - I forget to complete some and some not, so it is just a list with complete and progress and I get no information from that. Maybe if there where some productivity app using the statuses I would consider the feature againl
