1) Have you tried removing DeepL and reinstalling the latest version from the SDL AppStore?

Could you clarify whether you are using a Project TM or a main translation memory and check whether these are enabled in your project settings.

If you could post a screenshot- this would be really helpful.

Also worth checking, is Lookahead- 

Please go to File Options Automation and disable (uncheck) Enable Lookahead

The match problem seems to be solved by your second suggestion "(Please go to File Options Automation and disable (uncheck) Enable Lookahead)", for which I am very very grateful.
I must confess though that I still don't really know what is a "project TM". I am using a memory I created for the particular client, plus  a general one for consultation, and SDL machine translation, which works fine, plus, supposedly, Deepl, which doesn't).

The problem with deepl is that when I want to chose it in the project settings, a screen message appears as shown below

So I choose Deepl from "Any TM Cualquier otro proveedor"

Which seems to be admited, although on the bottom a warning appears: 

Does this give you a hint?

(I forgot to tell you that, even though inclusion as AnyTm seemed to be admitted, Deepl still doesn't work)

It’s not a project TM, it’s a main TM.

The warning just states that the settings on your screen-shot (all combinations) are not the same as in other language combinations in the project, such as Spanish into Dutch.

Also having 2 MT providers (Deepl & SDL) is not a good idea. Disable or remove SDL Language Cloud and check if the Deepl problem is solved. Check also the specific language combinations, like the one shown in your screen capture (Spanish>Dutch).

Hi Jesús, Until recently y used to work with the two MT providers, chosing best ideas to convenience, without any problem. But anyway, even taking out SDL MT, Deepl doesn't respond.

Could you please check if you have the latest version of Deepl plugin (it should be 5.8.20.2 for Studio 2021)?

Could you please double check that the Deepl API key inserted is correct? I got exactly your error message if the API key is incorrect.

Unbelievable! I had changed Deepl plan to a higher volume and was not aware that this would bring with it a new API, and no warning was received about a wrong code whatsoever. I entered the new key and now everything works. Both problems solved. Lots and lots of thanks, Jesús

You can enable SDL Language Cloud, as it makes sense to have both suggestions and pick the best one.
