After upgrading to SP2 11.2.4322.0 you can no longer add to segments with track changes.
I don't know how other people work, but our work flow *really* requires this feature.
Also, I still don't understand the rationale behind disallowing this.
Any insight as to why this is disallowed would be helpful.
BTW nice new site, although still a bit lost trying to find my way around and it doesn't seem to be Firefox compatible sometimes...

Sorry, I think I typed too fast. What I wanted to say was "you can no longer add *comments* to segments with track changes". Anyways here is a test project that produces the problem. (I had a bit of trouble uploading a file to this site, any guidance would be helpful)
Also a screenshot showing that "Add Comment" is grayed out since the segment is using track changes:
PS: This site has 2 buttons named "Insert/Edit Media", what is the difference between the two?
I think the problem here is that you are attempting to add a comment to a word that is essentially no longer there because it's been deleted. If you add any new text to this at all then you can add the comment.
On the insert media, I think they are the same thing, but one defaults to adding media from your computer and other defaults to a youtube video... probably why the icons are different too.

Here is another screenshot. This time Im selecting text that is there, but "Add Comment" is grayed out. This will also happen when you add text using track changes and try to comment that text (the behavior is quite random, I recommend randomly making track changes to some segments and experimenting):
