Question

I cannot update the TM database to version 2021 if the database file is on a network drive. I have about 400 databases created in trados 2015 on the network drive. Studio 2021 does not work with these databases, so I have to update them. Unfortunately, trados does not want to update the database that is on the network drive. I have to move it to my computer's local disk to update it. Will this trados bug be removed. This bug is still working on an older version of trados.

 TM's should always be updated as you migrate to a newer version of Studio in order to benefit from the enhancements introduced in newer versions.

 You will need to install SDL Trados Compatibility and Migration Power Pack as things have changed slightly in Studio 2021
