SDL Trados Studio doesn't add 2-letter and 3-letter words to the TM in a project with 2-letter and 3-letter repetitions

Hello, 
 
 I use SDL Trados Studio 2019, and this has been an issue I encountered for a long time. I think this was happening from this version (2019) or maybe 2017. 
 When I translate a document having repetitions and if the repetitions are 2- or 3-word letters, it just doesn't add to the TM. You will have to confirm all these repeated 2- or 3-letter phrases again and again. 
 This is really annoying because most of the time you will not be get paid for those repetitions. Do you have any workaround here?

 I'm sure segments of 2 or 3 words are saved in the TM. 
 If you select the whole source text and press F3 (Concordance), does the Concordance window show something? If so, there is a TU with this source text int the TM. 
 In Options > Automation , have you got the Perform lookup when active segment changes checkbox ticked? Try ticking it. And you should see something in the Translations results window.
