Actually, the TM is the biggest file within the ZIP archive; for an example project, the whole archive is then about 38MB large, of which 36MB are the TM alone. We have no Termbase included.

Problem is - is there any way to reduce the size without getting rid of the whole TM? Some of our translators cannot open Packages this size due to hardware limitations on their computers, which poses a huge problem in the current situation.

Perhaps the solution here is not to provide your translators with the whole TM, but to simply provide the translators with a Project TM.

This way, you have also more control over the data and quality in your main TM
