How do I remove this autofill function in SDL trados 2017?
It's AutoSuggest. If you just keep typing it will go away... so you don't have to use it. But if even this is annoying for you... and keep in mind this is populated from many sources and not just from your TM... then disable AutoSuggest in File -> Options.
