I get the message "broken uncompressed block" at package opening, I don't know what to do... The translation is a prospectus update so I cannot just recreate the xliff from the source text, I don't have the TM to avoid retranslate everything. And of course I just discovered it and the due date is Monday 10:00 am...

This sounds as though the file is corrupted.
I'm not sure when you say -

Does this mean you haven't used a TM whilst translating?
If you have a TM, you should pre-translate the original file through the TM

Thank you for your answer. Actually the TM was already included in the package by the PM when I received it. And I could'nt access to it, since I was unable to open this package. The only solution was to extract the update parts from my prospectus (in track change), and translate them without the original memory. I notified the PM of that, and he sent the corrected package this morning. I was happy to see that I worked pretty well, there wasn't much to change when integrating my content.
I guess the only way to resolve that was to recreate the package on client side...
