When I try to verify a big bunch of files (77,000 words together) I get this error. It is very annoying, as Studio needs nearly half an hour of verifying to then show this error.

Verify half the files, if the error re-ocurrs, split that half in two again etc. whittle down until you found the file causing the problem. That's what I would do, esp. if I am in a hurry without time to do the deep dive into the cause of the problem.

This is what I am doing now. The biggest file has 51,000 words, so I started with that one. This will obviously not deliver inconsistences throughout the whole project, but I think this is something I can live with for now.

This is what I am doing now. The biggest file has 51,000 words, so I started with that one. This will obviously not deliver inconsistences throughout the whole project, but I think this is something I can live with for now.

If there is really one particular file that's the culprit, you could run a verify on all files excluding the offending one, and that would give you inconsistencies for most of the project.

The biggest one worked, and I will try with next files as soon as that one is worked out.

Nonetheless, it would be nice to learn what was the cause to be able to avoid such problems in the future.

I was able to check all the files in bunches. The biggest one alone, two other big files (+20,000 words together) and then the rest together in virtual merge,. Then I closed all files and run the batch verify for the inconsistences. All this worked. But when I open the files all together in virtual merge I cannot verify. Checked that twice and in both cases the error was the same.

The job is delivered, but still I am curious what caused that error.
