I know how to add a segmentation rule for tab characters via the TM, but is it also possible to make this the default settings for all new projects (or MS Word projects), with or without a TM?
Given segmentation is TM driven you have to use a TM. So if you want it to be default for all projects make sure the TMs you use for your projects have this rule.
