Could you please try copying the project file to a folder like C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\TEST and check again from this location?

My projects are stored locally. When I click on Open Project Package on the Welcome page, this window appears:

When I double click on the project package, this window disappears and then a few seconds later this error message shows:

And here is the detail of the error:

Thank you for these screenshots and actual error messages- these are always useful.

It looks like the package itself is corrupted.

I would suggest copying the package and resaving with a slightly different name. You can change the file extension to .zip - unzip it and check the contents.

It might be advisable to ask your client for a new package.

I actually can't open any packages at all, even the ones I worked on up until two days ago. I also tried changing the file extension to .zip and extracted the content. All folders are extracted correctly. Not sure what's wrong?

This does appear to be odd.

Perhaps try resetting/repairing Studio ( it's what support will suggest anyway if we need to escalate for you)
