Hello,
The Pre-translate in Studio 2021 doesn't work. I get the message : Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I didn't have the problem with Studio 2017.
Thanks,
Eric

In the absence of any other details, not even the error information below the very generic "object reference" that could come from hundreds of things, try a reset.
You could use this app for the reset and this will also explain what you will lose by carrying out a reset before you do it:
But if you'd rather do this manually then rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16
So the path would become this:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16_old
If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:

Thanks Paul for your help. Is it worth paying for the support? I have few problems and I would like someone to take control of my PC and solve all of them. I have been using Studio 2017 and now 2021, and all the bugs I had are still there with 2021. I am willing to pay.

Good question, so I'll try and answer as practically as I can. If you have a technical support contract you get:
What you won't get is a guaranteed solution to every problem. So if there was a bug in 2017, and this really is a bug and is still there in 2021, then having a support contract won't make this work any better. So I would not encourage you to purchase a support contract just to try and get problems that you have had for a long time fixed... IF they really are bugs.
But in general. in my opinion every professional should purchase a support contract because it makes good business sense. You can budget for known annual costs and never have to think about how to get support when you need it, or worry about the cost of an upgrade. You set aside a small amount every month and each year pay the renewal.

Thanks Paul. I will do that. It is not a big cost. I like your point of view.
