What is unclear here? I would assume, with your Studio experience there should be no secrets in the analysis. If you could formulate your questions more in detail, maybe we find together a good explanation.

"My Studio experience" is in-depth in some areas and virtually non-existant in others. I am not a freelancer doing a large variety of translation tasks (including pricing etc.), but I do very similar tasks repeatedly which I try to optimize more and more. XML? Every day. IDML, ICML? Constantly. Power Point? Hardly ever. Can't remember when the last one came my way. 

Maybe that explains it... I guess as a freelancer using analysis reports is about the first thing you learn because that's the basis of your price calculations. I don't usually need to do this.

And I appreciate your offer to help. Jesús Prieto's link answered my questions.

I still feel the page I linked to in my initial post would deserve a facelift.
