That sdlxliff was probably created in Studio 2015 or earlier... maybe an early version 2017 I'm not sure. You don't have this deprecated filetype in 2019 so you cannot save the target file. You can translate the file and return the sdlxliff for your colleague or client to generate target.

Paul, thanks for the reply. But this was all done in the latest version of Studio 2019. I created a new project and added and transtaed this Excel file in Studio 2019. Also, the source Excel file was created and saved with Excel 2013.
That's interesting. You can see you don't have that version in 2019. I wonder if there is some old code in there that wasn't removed and is doing half a job? Can you share the excel file with me? If you can send it to pfilkin@sdl.com

Unfortunately it is a highly confidential file and I can't send it to you. It is an old Excel file we received from client. I opened it with Excel 2013, copied one sheet into a new file. I restarted the machine and realized it hadn't had a lot of Windows update so I'm running that now.
Paul, the problem fixed itself after I restarted the computer and ran numerous Windows updates which had not been done. I was able to generate the target Excel file without an issue. Thank you for your attention.
Dear Paul,
I'm experiencing exactly the same situation right now with a client's file. However, my computer is fully updated and the issue is still there. Can you please give me a hand on this?
I suggest you create a new thread as this one already has a verified answer. Make sure you provide some sensible information:
