I am trying to save an xlf document and am getting this message
I am using Studio 2021
yes, I am the only one working on it
my files are stored on my shared drive at work
ok -I moved your thread to the correct forum.

This is most likely your problem and the file could be corrupt. You could try moving your project to a local, non-shared drive, and try again but I think you'll probably have to recreate your project to resolve this. If you're lucky the sdlxliff could be used in a perfect match operation so you don't lose everything, and maybe even used to update a TM if perfect match didn't work. But if neither work you'll definitely have to recreate the project.

Sorry' i don't understand any of this. This is a file with 3,000 strings, I cannot recreate the project as you say.
None of it? ok...
If that doesn't work you'll probably have to start again.
OR... sometimes, you can simply create a new project using the sdlxliff files from the target language folder of the original project. That will often work and can save the project.
