Hello Community,
I'm trying to use the "update file" feature to update a source file in a studio package project. Every time I click the option, an error message pops up which reads "the file type of the update document is different than the file type of the original document". On the other hand, when I use the same function for a studio project (not package), it works fine.
Is the function unavailable for the package projects?

Hello Nessma Diab,
For the project package can use the "updated file" option and update with the sdlxliff file, not the source, supposedly the project package was sent to you and not created by you.
However, for a project you create and open you can use the source file to update the files in the Files view.

In fact, I'm the one who created the package in the first placeــ I'm experimenting :)
However, when I updated it using an SDLXLIFF as you recommended, it worked perfectly.
