As a first stopgap solution, change the autopropagation settings (File->Options):

Then it might be a help to filter for all your A1, A2, A3s etc with the Display filter (using a regex like "A\d+:") and then translate them all, confirm and lock.

Quickest way to achieve this might be:

1) Filter as descibed

2) Copy source to target for all filtered segments

3) Find and replace with regex, something like this:

I just notice you have A., not A:. Make sure you escape the "period" character: \.

P.S. I have never used Regex, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could show me how to change your suggested syntax in order to “escape the ‘period’ character: \.”

Sorry, I did not get your reply. If you use the @ character you can "mention" forum members, which is a good way of getting their attention.

So the regex to get Qs&As would probably be: ^[AQ]\d+\.\s?$

This allows for the dot/period to be followed by one or more spaces.

For the find/replace this might work:

Find: A(\d+)\.

Replace: R$1.
