Term entry not correctly shown in term recognition windows

Question

Hi all,

we have a term entry in Multiterm containing a source term and two target terms both with status information (one forbidden, one approved).

In the term recognition windows in Studio 2019 SR2 only one target term is shown (the first one) with the status information of the other one (approved), so as if something in between got lost sticking to elements together leading to wrong information (forbidden term shown as approved term).

In Multiterm Desktop 2019 the entry is shown correctly, a part from the fact that in full layout there is no origination and date/time information shown for these terms.

In the xml export it appears like this:

faulty: </descrip></descripGrp></termGrp><termGrp><term>

correct: </descrip></descripGrp><transacGrp><transac type="origination">sa</transac><date>2021-04-28T12:20:49</date></transacGrp></termGrp><termGrp><term>

In fact after copying the entry in Multiterm (add copy) and a saving this a new entry, the information is shown again correctly in Studio (origination and date/time have been saved as well).

Has anyone else seen such cases where Studio messes up information from Multiterm?

 You seem to have at least two account for this forum, so I hope I am responding to the right account... 
 I can't say much specifically to the problem you describe, but I did find that MultiTerm databases are somewhat brittle. I do very frequent backups and, a hint from Michael Schroeder , I regularly re-create them. Create a new Termbase, use the definition of the old one and copy all entries over. There is no loss of metadata. If you use Glossary Converter, I think you loose metadata like creating and modification dates, which are important for me.
