A problem related to Traditional Chinese punctuation display in Editor view

I was using the latest Trados 2021 SR1 16.1.5.4270 to perform English (U.S.) to Chinese Traditional (Taiwan) translation and saw that in the Editor view, almost all Traditional Chinese punctuations were gabled, displayed as squares (exept period, which sometimes showned correctly, sometimes not). I can confirm this was only a display error as in the final output, all the characters displayed correctly, as shown in the images below:

Trados Studio project creation window with source language set to English (United States) and target language set to Chinese Traditional (Taiwan).

Close-up of Trados Studio file list showing file names with correct display of Chinese characters in the file names.

Trados Studio Editor view with garbled punctuation marks displayed as squares in the Chinese Traditional text, except for periods.

  • Besides, I'm using Win10, and system provided Microsoft PinYin as IME. Inputting Traditional Chinese characters and punctuations (double-byte) anywhere else show correctly, be it in a brower, txt file, or any MS file editor. I've tried to switch to Simplified Chinese IME in Trados Editor view in the above enviroment, yet Simplified Chinese double byte punctuations showed as squares, too! On the other hand, single byte punctuations showned correctly in the Editor view. I've also tried to set the environment as EN to Simplified Chinese and use the same source file to test the Chinese double byte punctuations, you know what, all Chinese double byte punctuations showed up correctly in the Editor view! So this is most likely a display issue only when Chinese Traditional (Taiwan) is used as target language.
