Is there any way to disable the preview function in 2021 SR1? It seems to start by itself, and quite often the program freezes and can only be closed by using Windows Task Manager. The only way to avoid this happening appears to be to click 'cancel' in the very few seconds that this option is available.

The preview option is quite sensitive and will popout when you run the mouse of it.
You can disable the pop out by simply-
If you want to see the Preview then later- simply click Preview in the View Tab.
