I need your help with a solution to this issue.
We have an OLD TMX file that is paragraph-based. We need to fix the segmentation to be segment/sentence-based in order to use it properly.
We are using SDL Trados Studio 2021.
Any idea?

I think what you want to do is possible within Trados Studio, but it would require some pre-processing of your original TMX. For such operations I use Okapi Rainbox, a freeware tool with a terrible user interface, but really powerful once you got over the first hump.
I start out with a sample TMX, paragraph aligned.
Then I run the sentence segmentation workstep:

As pointed out in the other thread, this will work to the extent that your content has good parity, i.e. that ideally there is one corresponding target sentence for each source sentence.
