When copy and past source text with ctrl+C and ctrl +V in trados studio 2019 (Win 10 OS). Studio will frequently pop up a message saying like "cannot free up more space on clipboard, maybe another application is using the clipboard", now I have to empty the clipboard and save the translation file again and again in order to continue translation.
I re-installed studio but with no effect. Do I have to re-install OS?

I have never seen this error in relation to Trados Studio before.
Perhaps clearing the cache and ensuring Windows is completely up to date may help.
Its also perhaps worth taking a look at the following- perhaps the error is due to a different application as you mention copy and pasting a lot.
