Hi everybody,
Trados freezes or does not run smoothly with certain tasks, especially in heavy projects. My OS is Windows 10 64 bits, I have an i5 10400 2.9GHz (4.0GHz turbo) CPU, 32GB of RAM at 2666Mhz, an M.2 SSD of 1TB and the latest version of Trados (16.1.6.4276). There literally is no technical reason to blame my PC. Is it because I use a 4k screen? What can I do?

Can you please advise more specifically when Trados Studio freezes , is it when you confirm or verify segments and also is the TM you are using on the project a local one or is it a server Tm?
Another element might be to also check if your Trados studio was added to the exception list on your Antivirus just to make that it is not the AV blocking the application - https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0032531

Hello Loredana,
It mostly happens when verifying segments. I've had problems both with local and server TMs. I believe it might be that Antivirus exception thing you mentioned.
